What You’ll Do (The Mission):
- Command the Floor: Set up and operate digital presses using EFI Fiery Command WorkStation, ensuring 100% color consistency and perfect registration.
- Quality Guardianship: Monitor every run. Adjust alignment and color profiles on the fly to match digital files or previous samples exactly.
- System Optimization: RIP files and review job instructions to ensure the most efficient use of paper stocks and minimize waste.
- Maintenance & Care: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep our fleet at peak performance.
- Collaborate: Work hand-in-hand with our Prepress team to ensure files are "Print-Ready" for the fastest turnaround.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years operating digital production presses (Konica Minolta, Xerox, or RISO preferred).
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in EFI Fiery Command WorkStation is essential.
- The "Print Eye": Deep knowledge of typography, color management, and paper stocks.
- Problem Solver: You don't just see a technical error; you know how to fix it and prevent it from happening again.
- Fast-Paced Mindset: You thrive under deadlines and can manage multiple job tickets without losing focus on the details.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for long shifts and lift/move paper stocks weighing up to 40 lbs.
