What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative/Graphic Designer position at Minuteman Press?
Established, fast paced and busy print business is seeking candidates who have a background or education in graphic design for a position as a Customer Service Representative and production assistant. The primary role of this position is assisting our customers via telephone, email, and in person at our office with their print, mailing, promotional and design projects. In addition, this person will assist with digital print production and finishing work.
The ideal candidate for a position with our company will be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign and Illustrator along with customer service experience in a professional business setting. Enthusiasm, ambition and professionalism are valued over experience.
You will be responsible for entering orders into our proprietary management software, which we will train you how to use. Duties will also include but are not limited to advising the customer on their project, custom project quoting, customer correspondence through the order process, vendor relations, and assisting production aspects such as digital printing and bindery operations.

Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced Customer Service environment.
- Associate’s degree in graphic design or related field or similar experience.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- High organizational competence with ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong Math Skills.
- Exceptional Attention to Detail.
- Professional Appearance and Attitude.
- Previous printing experience is a plus but not required. We will train the right person.
