Bindery / Print Production Operator

Job Description

Minuteman Press is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our busy print production team. This position involves bindery, finishing, and large-format finishing. Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Strong mechanical aptitude is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Operate bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, laminators, and binding machines.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Perform cutting, folding, binding, laminating, and other finishing tasks.
• Finish large-format products, including banners, signs, posters, and vinyl graphics.
• Perform large-format finishing tasks such as trimming, mounting, laminating, grommeting, and applying vinyl.
• Inspect completed jobs for quality and accuracy.
• Package orders and assist with general print production.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are required.
• Experience in bindery, printing, large-format finishing, or machine operation preferred.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move materials weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and organized.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
