Minuteman Press in Coldwater, MI is hiring a Print Production / Press Operator to join our team. We're a locally owned commercial print shop producing everything from business cards and brochures to large-format signage and mailings. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work and enjoys seeing a finished product go out the door every day.
Responsibilities
- Operate digital printing presses and finishing equipment (cutting, folding, binding, laminating) with speed and accuracy
- Prepare job materials, load paper and other substrates, and set up equipment for each run
- Perform quality checks throughout production to ensure color, registration, and finishing meet customer expectations
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and running efficiently
- Work closely with the team to prioritize jobs and hit daily production deadlines
Requirements
- Print shop or production experience preferred, but we'll train the right person — mechanical aptitude and attention to detail matter most
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple jobs at once
- Basic computer skills; experience with digital presses (Xerox, Konica Minolta, Ricoh) or wide-format printers a plus
