Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Cashier / Stocker to join our team. This role combines customer service, cashiering, and stocking duties to help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment. The ideal candidate is punctual, hardworking, and has a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Stock shelves and coolers, ensuring products are front-faced and organized
- Maintain clean and well-stocked displays throughout the store
- Prepare simple hot food items (such as pizza) as needed
- Refill ice, cups, and other essential items during shifts
- Keep the store clean, including floors, counters, and food prep areas
- Communicate effectively with management and team members
- Assist customers with questions and product locations
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting
- Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required (training provided)
