Duties
- Stock shelves efficiently and accurately, ensuring products are organized and accessible to customers
- Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions smoothly and accurately
- Handle cash drawer operations with precision, including cash handling and balancing at the end of shifts
- Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and promote upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards to create an inviting environment
- Support inventory management by receiving shipments, stocking new products, and conducting stock counts
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic retail math is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service in a bilingual setting are a plus
