Manufacturing Machine Maintenance Technician
The Manufacturing Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation in a manufacturing environment. This role combines mechanical maintenance and machining knowledge, with a focus on CNC machines, lathes, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues
- Troubleshoot CNC machines, lathes, and related production equipment
- Support machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed
- Reduce equipment downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards
Requirements:
- Experience in machine maintenance, machining, or a related field
- Familiarity with CNC machines, lathes, and hydraulic systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude with basic electrical understanding preferred
- Ability to work independently in a production environment
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing floor with active machinery
- Fast-paced, hands-on technical role
Compensation:
$18–$25/hour starting pay, depending on experience
