Ink Production Generalist (Temp-to-Hire)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50 plus $.50 when onboarded
Overview:
This role assists the Batchmakers with making ink. This role pumps and packs the ink to bottles and various containers. This position is the entry-level version of the Batchmaker role. The goal is to have people come into this job and then be able to be promoted to a Batchmaker role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret batch tickets and follow customer specifications
- Pumps ink to various containers
- Accurately complete documentation and inspect finished products
- Meet production goals and follow all safety and GMP procedures
Requirements:
- Ability to be trained on a forklift
- Strong attention to safety and detail
Preferred Background:
Candidates with experience at companies such as Givaudan, Graeter’s, or Peter Cremer are highly desirable.
Work Environment:
- Active role requiring standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to move 55-gallon drums using a dolly
- Warehouse/manufacturing environment with varying conditions
