 Grinder Technician

The Grinder Technician is responsible for operating grinding equipment used in spring manufacturing. This position focuses on producing high-quality parts that meet strict dimensional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate grinding machinery for spring processing (not deburring)
• Measure parts using dial calipers and other precision tools
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications
• Make minor machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality
• Follow safety procedures in a loud, industrial environment
• Work independently while maintaining production standards

Requirements:

• Ability to read and use precision measuring tools (calipers preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to work in a manufacturing/production setting
• Comfortable working around loud machinery

Work Environment:

• Industrial, high-noise production floor
• Independent, task-focused role

Compensation:

$17–$21/hour starting, based on experience
