The Crane Operator is responsible for safely moving, inspecting, and packaging steel plate materials while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Job Duties:
- Perform daily crane and forklift inspections.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move, load, and unload plate material.
- Verify materials meet work order requirements.
- Package, tag, and document finished goods accurately.
- Complete ERP entries and required shipping/receiving paperwork.
- Assist with scrap removal, finished part handling, and housekeeping.
Requirements:
- Previous overhead crane experience.
- Previous forklift experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and safety.
