Position Overview
- Our client is seeking a Customer Service – Inside Sales Representative to join its expanding Inside Sales team. This newly created role supports continued growth by strengthening customer relationships, managing orders, and driving inside sales initiatives.
- The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship‑focused, and confident on the phone, with prior experience in food & beverage or a related industry. The role requires someone who can quickly adapt and contribute with minimal ramp‑up time.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues with a high level of service.
- Accurately process customer orders from entry through delivery.
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships through consistent communication and follow‑up.
- Support inside sales efforts by identifying opportunities, generating leads, and contributing to account growth.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to stage orders, manage inventory, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Align customer accounts with team strengths and expertise.
- Maintain accurate records in internal systems and assist with general administrative sales functions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of customer service and/or inside sales experience in a similar industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Strong communication skills with a natural relationship‑building approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.
- Highly detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Self‑starter with the ability to contribute immediately.
