- Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Concrete Superintendent to oversee large-scale commercial foundation and structural concrete projects throughout the Pontiac, Michigan area. What You'll Do:
- Lead all daily field operations from site preparation through project completion.
- Supervise foremen, laborers, finishers, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
- Manage commercial foundations, structural concrete, slabs, walls, footings, and elevated concrete work.
- Coordinate schedules, manpower, equipment, and material deliveries to maximize productivity.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards while staying on schedule and within budget.
- Enforce MIOSHA regulations and maintain a strong culture of jobsite safety.
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and owners to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum.
What We're Looking for:
- 8 years of commercial concrete construction experience. This requires someone with commercial experience.
- 3 years as a Superintendent or senior field leader.
- Strong knowledge of commercial foundations, structural concrete, formwork, rebar, and concrete placement.
- Proven ability to lead multiple crews and subcontractors on active commercial projects.
- Excellent blueprint reading, scheduling, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities with a commitment to safety and quality.
