Mint Workforce is placing a Certified Medical Assistant for a contract assignment at a primary care clinic in Grayslake, IL.
Position Snapshot
- Position: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Location: Grayslake, IL
- Pay Rate: $23 to $27/hour
- Position Type: Contract, 14 weeks
- Start Date: 9/7/2026
- End Date: 12/6/2026
- Schedule: Monday to Friday. Monday and Wednesday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Daily lunch break from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 60 minutes unpaid
What You'll Do
- Room patients and record vital signs
- Assist providers with exams and procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment
- Document patient information accurately in the EHR
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as injections and specimen collection
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff
What You'll Bring
- Current CMA certification
- Experience in a primary care or clinic setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working a split weekly schedule
