The Sous Chef plays a key role in delivering exceptional fusion cuisine by supporting the Head Chef and managing kitchen operations. This position involves overseeing a medium-sized team of 6-15 staff, ensuring high standards of quality and organization within the kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory to maintain adequate stock levels and reduce waste
  • Oversee quality control to ensure dishes meet the restaurant's fusion cuisine standards
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service

 

Company Description
Mint 29, a departure from the conventional chain steakhouse, instead it's an upscale fusion cuisine that features classic menu items with a twist. Mint 29 has everything from an 8oz prime filet mignon to a 22oz. bone-in ribeye. The signature steak, however, is a 32oz 40 day dry-aged Kobe beef bone-in ribeye.
