Wellness Center - Student Custodian Summer 2026

Position Description:

Primary responsibilities are cleaning and maintaining the locker rooms and bathrooms of the Wellness Center which includes, but is not limited to, vacuuming, wet mopping floors, cleaning toilets, kaivac showers, stocking paper products, wiping down lockers, emptying trash, and wiping down sinks/countertops/mirrors

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and appropriately with others.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to use mechanical equipment, such as floor scrubbers, kaivac, vacuum, tools, etc.
• Ability to use various chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Occasional lifting and moving of equipment from 50-100lbs or more, with assistance.
• Daily standing for periods of several hours while performing various tasks.
• Regular crouching, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, etc. to facilitate various duties and maintenance activities.
• Must be willing to become CPR/AED certified.
