Duties

• Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to ensure proper cleaning of linens, towels, and guest clothing.
• Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, folding, and organizing textiles to maintain quality and presentation standards.
• Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely throughout the facility.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries.
• Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning work areas regularly and using appropriate laundry detergents and cleaning agents.
• Assist with laundry services for guest rooms and public areas, ensuring timely delivery of clean linens and textiles.
• Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of garment care machines and understanding textile cleaning procedures such as dry cleaning when applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel laundry services or textile cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
• Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing inventory.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper use of laundry detergents and sanitation practices.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude towards team collaboration.
• Familiarity with garment care machine operation, industrial dryers, and textile cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining high-quality work standards.
