Lake Region Electric Cooperative (LREC), a member-owned electric utility serving more than 30,000 member-consumers in the counties of Otter Tail, Wilkin, Grant, Douglas, Clay, and Becker (service territory), is seeking candidates for a full-time, on-site, Data Analyst position to help advance how data informs decisions across our organization and for our members. This role plays a key part in strengthening reliability, enhancing member service, and supporting strategic initiatives through meaningful data insights.

What You’ll Do
Analyze operational and member data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making
Build and maintain data models, datasets, and reporting frameworks
Partner with teams across the Cooperative to define and deliver data-driven solutions
Support the development of data standards, best practices, and organizational data literacy
Assist in designing and maintaining data warehouse structures and integrations
Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and analytics
Contribute to shared services analytics support for partner organizations, delivering scalable and consistent solutions
What You Bring
Combination of education and experience equivalent to 6 years in data analytics, information systems, business analysis, or a related field
Experience developing analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions
Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience working collaboratively across teams to implement solutions
Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and business applications

LREC offers a generous compensation package including fully paid single coverage health insurance premium, company 401k match and substantial paid time off, including front loading accrual. This position’s starting wage range, based on previous experience, is $80,000 - $85,000 with a training progression period and wage adjustments to conclude over 2 years. Job offer rates are determined based on the candidate’s specific education, experience, knowledge, skills, and in alignment with market data.
