Automotive Painter

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Automotive Painter to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of vehicles, ensuring each one meets our rigorous standards of excellence. Duties

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
• Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using paint spraying equipment and hand tools
• Utilize buffing and polishing techniques to achieve a flawless finish on painted surfaces
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely to facilitate vehicle repairs and painting tasks
• Assist with detailing and auto restoration projects to meet customer specifications and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with the service team on auto estimating, vehicle maintenance, and repair planning to ensure timely completion of projects

Experience

• Proven dealership experience or professional auto body shop background preferred
• Hands-on experience with auto painting techniques including paint spraying and buffin
• Prior experience working with auto collision repair or dealership service departments is highly desirable
