Job Summary:
Assemble medical products from extruded or molded components. Assemble finished product using sub-assemblies and parts, and pack in designated carton according to customer specifications sheet and company policies.
Essential Functions:
- Place discrete components together per customer specifications.
- Fuse or bond products to meet finished product specifications.
- Cut or trim tubing to prescribed lengths.
- Bulk package product per customer requirements.
- Report problems or issues to supervisor for assistance.
- Work only on processes that you are being or have been trained to perform.
- Maintain clean and safe working environment per company policies.
- Use manufacturing documentation including prints, Manufacturing Processes and the Travelers to perform duties
- Use measuring tools and microscope to perform duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift minimum of 20 pounds routinely and 40 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to perform repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation and rotation.
- Must be able to use microscope and/or magnifying lens occasionally.
- Must be able to climb steps.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical device manufacturing experience desirable.
- Basic math and reading proficiency.
- Able to follow written procedures and instructions.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
