What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Operator Apprenticeship - Elmore position at Minnesota Limited?
Two- year, guided apprenticeship through Minnesota Rural Water Association.Â
The apprenticeship includes on-the-job training in Elmore, plus in-person and online training through MRWA.Â
FT, full benefit position available once the apprenticeship is completed. Our facilities require a MDH Water Operator Class C license and MPCA Wastewater Class D license. The apprentice will be qualified to test for both of these certifications once finished.Â
Knowledge of heavy equipment is preferred. Other tasks include maintaining city properties, streets, storm sewers, meters, water lines, WTP, ponds, lift stations, parks, locate utilities, and mowing.

MN-OSHA safety requirements. Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Some weekends and emergency hours required.

Starts at $15.00/hour first year, 40 hours/week, benefits include PERA, paid holidays, and 20 personal leave hours.Â
