What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool/Pre-K Teacher position at Minnesota Jewish Community Center?
Position Summary
HaLev Early Childhood at the J is delighted to welcome a passionate preschool teacher to our team at the Capp Center in St. Paul. We are seeking an educator who brings warmth, patience, flexibility, and a gentle presence to their work, along with experience caring for children ages 3 to 5.
In this role, teachers have the meaningful opportunity to nurture each child’s growth—supporting the development of independence, expanding language and communication skills, and preparing children for a confident transition to kindergarten. Just as importantly, our educators help foster a strong sense of self, safety, and belonging within a caring and connected community.
Located conveniently along public transportation routes, the Capp Center is home to a dedicated team of compassionate caregivers who are committed to creating a joyful, inclusive, and enriching early childhood experience.
