Setup Technician (67637)

Our Rogers dealership is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Setup Mechanic to join the team! This role is responsible for setting up, assembling, inspecting, and preparing new John Deere and other high quality brand equipment to be ready for delivery to customers. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and supporting a smooth sales and service operation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assemble and set up new equipment including agricultural, turf, and compact equipment
• Perform pre-delivery inspections according to equipment standards
• Install attachments and accessories as needed or required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Accurately complete setup documentation and checklists
• Work closely with sales and service teams to meet timeline

• Must have adequate personal set of tools to perform work responsibilities
• Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-deliver and set-up processes, and for maintenance purposes
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Work independently with little or no supervision, self-motivated
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer functions experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
