Work is performed under the general direction of the Highway Maintenance Superintendent. Under direction of the Fleet, Building and Grounds Superintendent, workers in this classification perform a variety of building maintenance duties within all County buildings. Work involves performing cleaning and maintenance operations as well as maintaining the safe and efficient operation of the heating, cooling, fire protection, ventilating equipment, motors, pumps, and mechanical systems that supply power to County facilities.
