The City of Mayer (pop. 2,600) is accepting applicants for a full-time Public Works Utilities Operator position, represented by the Local 49 Union. Reporting to the Public Works Supervisor, the selected candidate is directly involved in the operations of the Public Works Department, including streets, parks, water, sewer, and storm sewer systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable to changing priorities, and has a passion for public service. Employees will be cross-trained in a multitude of different responsibilities ensuring a variety of work experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Valid MN Class D Driver’s License.
Desired Qualifications:
•Valid Class C Water License or higher.
•Valid Class D Wastewater License or higher.
•Valid MN Class B CDL.
