Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled B Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work with various hand tools in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on a variety of vehicles.
- Align and maintain vehicle components to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues.
- Provide tire services, including rotation and balancing.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with service their vehicle needs.
- Assist in heavy lifting as required during maintenance tasks.
- Willing to learn new things and have a positive attitude
- Be able to to do Intoxalock installs, inspections and removals( Training provided )
- Being able to diagnose and repair complex vehicle system like be but not limited to: VVT systems, EVAP systems, transmissions, hybrid battery systems and more.
- Being able to do some heavy line work like replace engine's, transmissions, and more.
- Being able to work with Woolwax to do vehicle rustproofing, as needed, will train.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive service as a B Technician is mandatory.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and automotive diagnostics.
- Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively, with service writers .
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various physical conditions.
- Proficient in using hand tools and automotive equipment safely.
- A valid driver's license is required.
