We are Hiring
Seeking Recycling driver/collector with Class A or B and Air Brake endorsement to work on refuse truck.
Starting pay $28.50 Hr. and up an hour depending on Union seniority
About us:
Minneapolis Refuse Inc (MRI) is a family owned and operated business since the 1970’s collecting approximately half the City of Minneapolis Recycling. MRI drivers are members of Local 120 Union Teamsters.
Job description:
· Recycling collection driver
· Rear load recycling truck or open box truck
· Dump carts of recycling, pick up bulky items & mattresses.
· Able to work individually or with a team.
· Must be able to navigate the streets and alleys in Minneapolis
· Must be able to read and follow a map.
· Outside work
· Mon-Fri work. Work 6 Saturdays a year based on major holidays
· Day work, hours consist of 5:30 a.m. start to 2:30 p.m. finish. Generally done earlier, but guaranteed pay for 8 hours.
Job Requirements:
· Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement.
· We are taking some permitted Drivers with CDL B with Air Brake Endorsement.
· Good driving record
· 18 years or older.
· Must be eligible to work in the US.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. often. With the ability to move large bulky items that weigh above 50 lbs.
· Must be able to pass drug screen, background check, and Clearing House report.

Experience:
- Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Class A or B license. with air Brake Endorsement (Required)
- Class A or B Driver's License (Required)
- Current Med Card (Required)
