Minneapolis Radiation Oncology has an opening for a Full-Time Medical Secretary at our busy Radiation Therapy Center located within the Ridgeview Professional Building in Waconia. We have 2 Secretaries who greet our patients coming in to receive radiation treatments for cancer. The full-time Secretary hours are typically 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. 

Duties include

  • Greeting and registering patients in a welcoming manner
  • Scheduling new patient consultations, procedures and follow-up appointments
  • Requesting and organizing prior medical records
  • Preparing patient charts with medical history for new patients
  • Answering phones professionally
  • Supporting Physicians and Nurses with various administrative duties
