Brief Description
Education and Experience:

The Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology is one of the largest physician-owned neurology clinics in the Midwest serving 55,000 patients every year. Subspecialities include Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, dementia, stroke, sleep, headache, epilepsy, and other cognitive neurological disorders. Our holistic approach to patient care includes neuropsychology, infusion, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and neurodiagnostic services.
- Part time- 3 days a week**
- Set up and collect demographic information from patient
- Work one on one with patient, administering standardized tests to patient.
- Adapt the administration of test to the specific needs of each patient while staying within the standardized procedures set forth for each specific test.
- Provide detailed written behavioral observations of the examinee that may be used by the neuropsychologist to aid in test interpretation.
- Trouble-shoot difficult testing situations
- Accurately score tests according to standardized rules and using appropriate norms
- Perform data entry using specialized neuropsychological software.
- Perform various clerical or administrative duties that include but are not limited to patient scheduling, correspondence with outside providers/clinics and attorneys and procurement of office and testing supplies.
- Participate in practice improvements by implementing changes to procedures/workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement, and assisting with the delivery of compassionate and personalized patient care.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field.
- Previous clinical experience using psychological tests is preferred.
- Experience working with patients who have medical or neurological conditions is desirable.
