What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist- Neurology position at Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology?
*Full time in Maple Grove, MN or splitting between Maple Grove and Coon Rapids Clinic's.
We seek a therapist with interest and experience with various neurological conditions including vestibular dysfunction, Parkinson disease, multiple sclerosis, balance deficits, headaches, neck and back pain, concussion rehab, and more. We are looking for someone to be the only physical therapist at this site but to be a part of our interdisciplinary neurology team. There are opportunities for clinic growth in the future. You will also be part of a talented team of ten (soon to be twelve) physical and occupational therapists across the 5 clinic sites. We have a full-time position available with great benefits and flexible schedule to include Fridays.
Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy and licensed by the MN Board of Physical Therapy
- Minimum two years' experience as a physical therapist with excellent diagnostic and communication skills
- Prefer training in vestibular rehab and manual therapy skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good human relations; Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Patient centered, strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines and troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Ability to work independently, exhibit mature judgment and make sound decisions.
- Strong focus on patient safety; ability to discern red flags and manage with exceptional judgment.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion.
