Your Mission
We are seeking a motivated entry-level Quality Manager to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS). This role is ideal for someone with foundational knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 who is eager to grow into a leadership position while helping maintain high standards of product and process quality across the organization.
The Quality Systems Manager will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure procedures are followed, quality standards are met, and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and support ongoing ISO 9001:2015 certification.
- Provide organization-wide leadership on quality system processes, including training, coaching, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure quality procedures and documentation are followed.
- Oversee inspection of incoming materials to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements.
- Monitor, measure, and review internal processes that impact product quality.
- Collaborate with customers, employees, contractors, and outsourced partners to define and maintain product requirements.
- Report QMS performance metrics to senior leadership, including audit results and corrective action progress.
- Conduct and facilitate periodic management review meetings.
- Participate as a member of the complaint investigation team to support issue resolution and process improvement.
- Ensure monitoring and measuring equipment is properly inspected, calibrated, and documented.
- Stay current on relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry developments.
- Support a productive and professional work environment by mentoring and guiding team members.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and employee development as needed.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and according to established requirements.
- Partner with the management team to recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives that optimize operations and enhance product quality.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified candidates should possess a minimum of a 4-year degree and/or multiple years of experience at various levels in QC/QA position including leadership responsibilities.
- Significant involvement in ISO 9001 compliance including creating and implementing ISO system.
- Experience with QM systems (DIN EN ISO 9001; QS 9000; GMP or similar QM systems.
- Experience with incoming goods inspection, process monitoring and outgoing goods inspection.
- Experience with statistical methods for quality assurance such as: FEMA, PPAP, APQP, Cpk
- Advanced knowledge and experience with CAQ.
- Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards
