Role Summary

We are seeking a Development Consultant who is passionate about connecting with mission-minded donors and advising them on Kingdom-minded financial stewardship. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships with major donors, ensuring engagement through strategic communication as donors meet their financial commitments. The ideal candidate will have experience in and a proven track record with donor relations, large-scale fundraising, and development and will play a key role in supporting the organization's goals through impactful engagement and stewardship.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Implement a strategic plan to promote major gift donor engagement.
• Foster ongoing engagement with assigned major gift donors through regular connections.
• Monitor agreement terms, giving opportunities, and donor event participation.
• Take a proactive approach in renewing and increasing commitments with a clear strategy.
• Oversee donor communication preferences and referrals.
• Produce thorough, accurate, and timely reports on major gifts.
  
  

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 Years of experience in development, fundraising, and/or donor relations with high-net-worth individuals.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to personalize engagement approaches.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting.
• Strong relationship with Jesus Christ and proven connection with gospel-focused outcomes.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Fundraising, or a related field.
• Understanding of financial stewardship principles.
