Responsibilities
Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Supervise and engage children during activities, playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and positive behavior management
Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote transparency and collaboration
Help with classroom setup and cleanup to ensure a welcoming space for all children
Participate in ongoing training related to child development instruction, first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws
Provide attentive child supervision, ensuring safety at all times while encouraging social-emotional growth
Requirements
Previous experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is preferred
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
Certifications in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws are highly desirable
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus
Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
