Mines & Meadows is one of the region's fastest-growing ATV resorts and campgrounds, featuring 950 acres, 84 miles of off-road trails, campgrounds, cabins, special events, and thousands of guests each year.
We're are looking for a full-time Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants every day to bring new challenges.
We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, takes pride in a hard day's work, and enjoys leaving the property better than they found it. If you're dependable, self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
Every day is different. Responsibilites include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of the resort, including buildings, campgrounds, landscaping, parking areas, trails and common areas.
- Perform trail maintenance including tree removal, brush clearing, grading, drainage improvements and general upkeep.
- Perform preventative, corrective, seasonal, and emergency maintenance on buildings, equipment, and resort facilities.
- Complete repairs involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, fencing, gates, and general building maintenance.
- Operate equipment such as UTV's, Quads, chainsaws, trucks, trailers and other maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Remove trash and maintain dumpsters and common areas throughout the property.
- Assist with campground improvements, landscaping, special events and seasonal projects.
- Complete work orders accurately and communicate progress with supervisors.
- Maintain maintenance shops, storage buildings, tools and equipment in a clean, organized and safe condition.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment and maintenance supplies.
- Perform maintenance inspections and recommend improvements to enhance safety, efficiency and the overall guest experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
