Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep grounds vibrant and healthy
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers and power tools.
- Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety around the property
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with gardening projects and landscape installations as needed to enhance outdoor aesthetics
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating various landscaping and groundskeeping equipment
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, and lawn care techniques
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and ground equipment for efficient task completion
- Ability to identify plants accurately and understand basic horticulture principles
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to outdoor work environments
- Previous experience working outdoors in diverse weather conditions is highly desirable
