Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Process sales transactions efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed to support kitchen operations
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and resolving concerns promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on fine dining preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and ensure guest satisfaction
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing tabs seamlessly
- Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards in the food industry
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for supporting food prep or handling tasks
