Livestream Auction Host – Whatnot (Base Pay + Sales Bonuses)

We are seeking a confident and engaging Livestream Auction Host to present and sell collectible items during live auctions on the Whatnot platform. The ideal candidate is comfortable on camera, enjoys interacting with audiences, and can create an energetic environment that encourages bidding and participation.

Our inventory includes Pre-Columbian art and antiquities, so an interest in art, history, antiques, or collectibles is a strong plus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys livestream selling, auctioneering, or social media hosting and wants to earn base pay plus performance bonuses tied to sales.

Responsibilities

Host live auctions on the Whatnot platform from our location in Sebring, Florida
Present and describe collectible items during livestreams
Engage with viewers in chat and encourage active bidding
Maintain an entertaining, energetic, and professional livestream environment
Follow auction structure and pricing guidelines
Handle and present items carefully during the stream

Compensation

Base Pay: $20 per hour
Typical Stream: 5 hours ($100 base pay)

Performance Bonus Structure (per stream):

• Under $3,000 in sales: $100 total pay
• $3,000 in sales: $150 total pay
• $5,000 in sales: $250 total pay
• $7,500 in sales: $350 total pay
• $10,000 in sales: $500 total pay
• $15,000 in sales: $800 total pay

High-performing hosts can earn significant bonuses as sales increase.

Requirements

Comfortable speaking on camera for extended periods
Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
Ability to engage a live audience and create excitement around auctions
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable handling collectible items (mostly antiquities)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with livestream selling (Whatnot, TikTok Live, Instagram Live, etc.)
Experience in sales, hosting, presenting, or auctioneering
Interest in antiques, art, or collectibles

Schedule

Streams typically run 5-8 hours per session, with flexible scheduling. There is opportunity for multiple streams per week for the right candidate.
