Looking for a 4 day on-3 day on schedule and get 40 hours in, along with the busiest of days as the 4 you would work?
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service while crafting a variety of beverages. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable experience, whether they are visiting for a night out at the nightclub or attending a special banquet event.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction with drinks.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during events or banquets.
- Stay informed about drink specials, menu changes, and promotions to effectively upsell items to customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management; math knowledge is beneficial.
- Understanding of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
