Casino Cleaner (Custodian)

Job Overview
We are seeking a daytime Custodian to join our team here at the Mineral Palace. Our custodian's focus on keeping our casino and supporting facilities clean and presentable.

Requirements: Must be able to pass a preemployment urinalysis, with random urinalysis throughout employement.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Carry out industrial cleaning duties in compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and spaces.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote sustainability within the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards across all areas of the facility.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting or moving equipment.
