Role Description

The ERP Lead Architect (GL & Financials) will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ERP architecture with a focus on general ledger and financial modules. This full-time role will include project management, software integration, and architectural design to deliver effective solutions aligned with business objectives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the role requires creating scalable and reliable ERP systems. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA, with flexibility for occasional remote work.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience creating and optimizing scalable and efficient ERP solutions
• Strong technical proficiency in Software Development and Integration, with the ability to ensure seamless system communication
• Proven ability in Project Management to oversee ERP implementation, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience with financial systems or general ledger functionalities is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus

What We’re Looking For

• 7–10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or ERP Financials implementation.
• Hands-on experience designing or working with ERP platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Intacct, Acumatica, or similar.

Deep understanding of:

• General Ledger structure & chart of accounts
• Consolidated financials
• Multi-entity and multi-currency accounting
• Balance maintenance and subledger reconciliation
• Period close out
• Financial reporting and period-end close processes
• Quote-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay lifecycles
• Ability to define and troubleshoot complex GL impacts at every step of the transaction flow.
• Strong technical fluency—comfortable navigating data models, APIs, and system configuration.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into functional designs.
• CPA, CMA, or MBA in Finance strongly preferred.
• Bonus: Experience with AI-powered automation, low-code/no-code platforms, or designing modern cloud-based financial systems.
