Summary:
Seeking a passionate Veterinary Technician Instructor to teach and mentor students at our San Leandro campus. Ideal for a credentialed vet tech or experienced veterinary professional eager to train the next generation.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and develop Veterinary Technology courses (classroom & lab).
- Create lesson plans, materials, and hands-on demonstrations.
- Assess student performance and maintain accurate records.
- Advise students academically and professionally.
- Align instruction with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
- Participate in curriculum development and faculty activities.
- Maintain a safe, effective learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology or related field.
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) or equivalent experience.
- 3 years clinical experience.
- Teaching/training experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and mentoring skills.
- Proficient with educational technology and Microsoft Office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
