Title: Senior IAM Engineer / IAM SSO Integration Specialist / IAM SSO Integration Engineer / SSO Integration Specialist / SSO Integration Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC – Onsite Role - 3 days in office

Duration: 24 Month (s) Contract, possibility to extend is not currently certain

Job Details:

***They interviewed 6- 7 candidates so far but none of them made it through – basics were not strong when it came it to IAM.

• 4 years of information security applications and systems experience
• 2 Experience in installing, configuring, and supporting SSO platforms such as Okta or Ping
• Demonstrated ability supporting applications in a distributed, highly available, mission-critical environment
• Proficient in Agent Based, Web Based and Federated Authentication and Authorization standards
• Strong hands-on experience with industry standard SSO technologies and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, SAML 2.0)

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory services, MFA, Risk based authentication and privileged access management
• Familiarity with deployments and integration of IAM solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
• Knowledge and understanding of complex enterprise systems and frameworks including frontends, middleware, services layer, database, backend and downstream interfaces
• Knowledge and understanding of technical writing: storage, middleware, or virtualization
• Strong negotiation and leadership abilities
• Knowledge of Kubernetes containerization strategy

About the roles & Responsibilities:

• This is more of an Operations role - but need super strong technical candidate.
• They are looking for strong resources having expert level of experience with IAM basics.
• Resources must be very clear with Basic concepts of IAM and its processes.
• They have multiple products - each product is different but concept is same. They handle & manage 4 - 5 products throughout different LOB.
• Multiple products - OKTA | SiteMinder | AzureAD | Ping Federate | HYPR | etc.
• They don’t need an all-rounder when it comes to IAM products.
• Resources must know the processes to Switch (Integrate & Migration) between 2 products.
• This is On-call rotation (9 AM - 9 PM) - troubleshoot the issue - which is the reason they need to have strong basic correct.
• They will be supporting different Applications team and other set of users who are not able to login to this application or have issues with it.
