Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Citrix Engineer / Architect to design, implement, and support enterprise-scale Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) / DaaS environments across cloud and hybrid infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Citrix technologies, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and VDI architecture, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Citrix DaaS / CVAD (latest versions) in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Lead Citrix upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization initiatives across enterprise environments.
- Architect and deploy Citrix solutions on AWS and/or Azure, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
- Manage and configure Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront, Workspace, and WEM components.
- Oversee application virtualization, packaging, and delivery for large-scale enterprise users.
- Design and implement VDI architecture for secure and efficient end-user computing.
- Administer and manage Active Directory, GPOs, and Windows Server (2019/2022) environments.
- Ensure security compliance, participate in audits, and implement industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Citrix, Windows, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Work with monitoring and optimization tools such as ControlUp, Citrix Director, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network, security, and cloud teams.
- Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell or scripting tools (good to have).
Required Skills & Experience
- 6 years of experience in Citrix administration, engineering, or architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with Citrix CVAD / DaaS (latest versions).
- Expertise in Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront, WEM, and Workspace.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure (IaaS, networking, storage).
- Experience with large-scale Citrix deployments (10K users preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, and Windows Server environments.
- Experience in Citrix upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with automation using PowerShell.
- Exposure to Zero Trust architecture and endpoint security.
- Knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID integration.
- Experience with monitoring tools like ControlUp, Director, or Liquidware Labs.
- BFSI domain preference (if required)
- Certifications (Citrix CCA/CCP/CCE, AWS/Azure certs)
