Title: Electrical Supervisors / Electrical Superintendents BESS Project

Locations: Nebraska/Florida

Total Openings: 5

Work Environment: ~80% Field Based

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors / Electrical Superintendents with strong Medium Voltage (MV) and inverter experience to oversee electrical construction activities on large-scale projects. This role is primarily focused on field oversight, contractor management, and ensuring electrical installations meet project specifications and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical field operations, MV systems, cable terminations, and inverter installations, and be comfortable reviewing electrical drawings and troubleshooting systems in the field.

This role is not primarily hands-on electrical work, but instead focuses on supervising contractor builds and ensuring quality execution on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical construction activities on active job sites
• Manage and supervise contractor electrical installations
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical drawings, and safety standards
• Provide oversight of Medium Voltage (MV) systems and installations
• Coordinate field activities with project management and engineering teams
• Review and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting efforts
• Ensure proper LOTO procedures and electrical safety practices
• Monitor installation of inverters, cabling, and MV equipment

Required Qualifications

• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Deep understanding of Medium Voltage (MV) systems
• Experience with cable terminations and crimping
• Strong inverter installation and cabling experience
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and testing
• Familiarity with LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures
• Strong field experience on construction job sites

Preferred Background

Candidates with career progression such as:

• Lineman → Foreman → Construction Superintendent
• Electrical Foreman / Electrical Superintendent
• Master Electricians are also acceptable (even without formal supervisory titles) if they understand the role is primarily oversight rather than hands-on work

Technical Experience (Preferred)

Experience with any of the following is beneficial:

Software / Tools

• Procore
• MS Project
• FieldMaps
• Smartsheets

Electrical Testing

• DC cable testing
• VLF testing
• Partial Discharge (PD) testing

Systems

• SCADA systems (preferred but not required)
• Fiber communication systems (preferred but not required)
