The Retail Marketing Coordinator (RMC) plays a key support role in executing retail marketing initiatives across the Tempur Sealy brand portfolio. Working closely with the Retail Activation Manager, Customer Marketing team, and Sales, the RMC helps ensure the flawless execution of marketing programs and in-store activations. This role supports the development and deployment of point-of-purchase (POP) materials, retailer-specific campaigns, and product launch initiatives, while coordinating vendors and assets, managing budgets, and maintaining project timelines.

What You'll Do Here:
Retail Activation & POP Management
- Support the Retail Activation Manager in creating, managing, and deploying in-store marketing materials for new product launches across all brands.
- Assist in the development of retailer-specific POP and in-store experiences tailored to key accounts.
- Measure, monitor, and optimize POP development and deployment processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to manage production timelines, resolve inventory shortages, and fulfill expedited requests or cancellations.
- Maintain oversight of POP inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment or redistribution to meet retailer demand.
- Partner with Customer Marketing Managers to execute retail account-specific marketing plans that align with national campaigns, promotional calendars, and product launches.
- Work with Sales Managers to develop and communicate retail account contest rollouts and promotional activations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure delivery of on-time marketing assets (print, digital, and in-store).
- Support the implementation of retail programs that drive brand visibility and share of voice in top retail accounts.
- Provide reporting and insights on campaign performance, POP effectiveness, and marketing spend.
- Coordinate periodic business reviews with POP vendors and other key partners.
- Monitor and report on POP spending and ensure alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Manage the classification and grouping of inventory and non-inventory materials.
- Ensure timely and accurate Accounts Payable processing for vendors and suppliers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, customer marketing, retail activation, or shopper marketing.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to make holistic, data-driven decisions.
- Proven project management and vendor coordination skills; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
- Working knowledge of marketing fundamentals, retail channel dynamics, and campaign management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with marketing or inventory management tools a plus.
- Ability to create structure and process in dynamic environments and adapt to new situations with agility.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 5-10%) for sales or marketing events.
- Strategic, proactive thinking who can translate marketing plans into actionable execution.
- Exceptional organization and detail-orientation with a strong sense of urgency.
- Curiosity, solutions-driven mindset, and motivation to deliver high-quality work in fast-paced settings.
