Job Overview
We’re looking for someone who thrives on creating calm out of chaos and genuinely enjoys helping others. As a Household Manager, you’ll become a trusted partner to families by keeping their homes running smoothly, organized, and stress-free. Your schedule will be made up of multiple clients with varying needs, and offers flexibility for a variety of schedules. You will drive to and from client’s homes and be expected to arrive on time with whatever schedule you commit to.
This is more than a cleaning job or personal assistant role. Household Managers anticipate needs, solve problems, and take ownership of the day-to-day tasks that help a home function seamlessly. Every day is different, making this the perfect position for someone who is proactive, organized, and loves serving others.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Light organizing (I take on all large projects so this is more tidying based) all areas of the home
- Maintaining organized systems created for clients
- Laundry (washing, folding, putting away)
- Light housekeeping such as dishes, wiping counters, and resetting spaces
- Light meal preparation
- Package drop off/ household errands
- Managing household inventory and restocking supplies as needed
- Changing bed linens and maintaining guest rooms
- Pet care assistance (taking to appointments)
- Holiday decorating, gift wrapping, and seasonal organization
- Communicating regularly with clients and documenting completed tasks
- Identifying household needs before clients have to ask
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
- Proactive and can see what needs accomplished before being told
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Warm, professional, and trustworthy
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a variety of homes and environments
- Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods
- A strong communicator with excellent time management skills
- Adaptable and able to prioritize changing needs
- Passionate about helping people reduce stress and improve their daily lives
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Smartphone for communication and scheduling
- Previous experience in hospitality, nannying, household management, customer service, or related fields required. We value punctuality, attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
