Assembler / Ensamblador

The Wall Panel Assembler is responsible of assembling building material components. This dedicated team member frames walls together on assembly tables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Plans and implements the assembly process by reading and understanding
drawings or blueprints and gathers necessary materials and tools to complete order.
• Ensures that assembled items meet specific quality specifications.
• Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent
injury to self or coworkers. Must attend periodic mandatory safety meetings.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of construction-related equipment and sound demonstrated use.
• Demonstrated ability to make good independent judgment and decisions.
• Good team work and collaboration effort.
• Strong problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills
(methods to include phone, email, & text messaging).
• Fork-lift certified or willingness to get certified.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to fifty pounds on a frequent basis and up to one-hundred pounds on an occasional basis; prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching is required on a daily basis. A full range of physical motion is required in order to operate manual and electrically-powered tools and
construction-related equipment.

Environment
Work is performed indoors in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards.

Sueldo: $18 por hora

Somos una empresa subcontratista especializada en estructuras de madera para edificios comerciales. Estamos buscando a alguien que se una a nuestro equipo como Ensamblador(a) de Paneles de Pared en nuestro taller.

Lo que harás:

• Armar paneles de pared sobre mesas de trabajo
• Leer planos para saber cómo debe ir armado todo
• Asegurarte de que el trabajo esté bien hecho y sea seguro
• Ayudar a mantener el área de trabajo limpia y organizada
• Seguir las normas de seguridad y presentarte con buena actitud

Lo que buscamos:

• Conocimientos básicos de construcción son útiles, pero no indispensables
• Capacidad para levantar hasta 23 kg (50 libras) regularmente (a veces más)
• Comodidad para estar de pie, agacharse y estirarse durante el día
• Experiencia con montacargas es un plus (o disposición para aprender)
• Tener licencia de conducir válida en EE. UU.
