What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff position at Mind Over Matter Together, LLC?
The Direct Care Staff has the responsibility of assisting an individual who has a psychiatric disability in the process of restoration of community functioning and well-being. The Direct Care Staff will help the client with rehabilitation services that are collaborative, person-directed, and individualized. Their main focus is on helping individuals develop skills and access resources needed to increase the client's capacity to be successful and satisfied in the living, working, learning and social environments of the client's choice. The position is under direct management, and has the responsibility to follow through with tasks as trained and as assigned. All direct care will receive regular documented in-person supervision. There shall be at least one rehabilitation specialist for every 15 direct care staff. There shall be one direct care staff that is full time equivalent, for every 20 individuals on the monthly census.
