Mind & Body Wellness Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Provide medication management and monitor treatment response
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff for coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation (EMR)
- Provide patient education and support
Experience
- Active and unrestricted PMHNP license in New York
- Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/Arabic) is a plus, but not required
