Role Description
The Design Assistant position is part-time, assisting the owner and primary designer in day to day functions. You will learn how to run a small business from the inside out.
Location:
Pacific Standard Time zone applicants are encouraged to apply. This position can be remote or we have an office in 90042 zip code, but hybrid work will be common.
Qualifications
- 5 years work experience in any role
- Lives in Pacific Standard Time
- Is willing to commit to working for the company through 2026
- Can use phone, text, email seamlessly
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with clients and coworkers
- Ability to be supervised and accept feedback
- Has an interest in learning how to design websites
- Has a computer with reliable internet
- Has reliable means of transportation if in Los Angeles
- Able to work legally in the United States
- Accepting of transgender individuals
- Willing and ready to be trained
Desired Qualifications
- Administrative experience
- Adobe Creative Suite knowledgable
- Grant-writing or fundraising experience a major plus
- Is interested in learning how to create and run a small business
- Have done marketing in any capacity
- Social media literate
- Video editing and/or photography skills
