Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a lively environment, taking orders, serving food making and serving drinks, and creating a memorable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hosptality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Some experience in restaurant, bar, nightclub, or banquet settings is a required.
Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Provide attentive customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Manage cash handling with accuracy using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas according to health standards
- Upsell menu items to increase sales while ensuring guests receive personalized recommendations
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible alcohol service
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry required
- Bar or nightclub experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills with the ability to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- ABC RBS certificate and food handlers card required after 60 days
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
